Ulcerovet contains a powder from the herb Maytenus ilicifolia, a traditional botanical ingredient used to support normal gastric and digestive function in horses. It is included to help maintain the natural protective environment of the stomach and support digestive comfort as part of a balanced feeding and management programme.
Ingredients: 100% finely ground Maytenus ilicifolia powder
Recommended Daily Dose:
Recommended daily amount for horses: 3–6 g. One teaspoon corresponds to approx. 3g. For horses weighing 500kg or more, we recommend 6g per day. For ponies and horses weighing under 400kg, we recommend approx. 3g per day.
Mix the powder into the feed, or prepare it as a tea by adding hot water. If required, bring it briefly to the boil, allow it to cool to a lukewarm temperature, and then mix it into the feed.
For preventive long-term use, the feeding amount can be halved. A time interval must be maintained between the use of mucus-forming additives (e.g. linseed gel) and binding additives (e.g. zeolite).
Consult a veterinarian in the case of acute stomach ulcers. This product is not a substitute for veterinary care or medications recommended by a veterinarian. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not suitable for pregnant mares. Keep out of the reach of children.
Store in a cool, dry place between 10–25°C.
